| Snowshoe Hare Without the Snow | ||||||||||
| Image Details Here's a fellow who probably wishes it would snow soon. This was taken in mid November in Algonquin Park near an area known as the air field. Every night while we were there, a wolf pack would serenade us with a chorus of howling. Evidence of their presence was everywhere in the campground and throughout the fields. The snowshoe hare must have been awfully nervous in his winter white coat among the dark grass and pine needles. |

| Thelma Beaubien Your explanation about the wolves explains why the hare was in hiding. Striking image with his eye captured through the undergrowth. |

| Elly McKellar Very interesting image. Can imagine that it must be very nervous standing out so much in the snowless landscape. |
||||||||||
| Mohamed Sabet Hide and Seek! Well seen image and very well composed. |
||||||||||
| Gordon Schmidt You have an image that does say "You really do not see me". The key point for me is the clear view of the eye framed in the grass. A real nice story. |
