Cod and Forgotten
Image Details
One of the many fishing village harbours in Newfoundland that are now sitting idol with only a few small run abouts. The main docks are empty and the sea weeds are taking over. But a great place to photograph and may be feel the old days.

Yes, you can almost see the furious activity of a time long ago, and perhaps, hear the colourful phrases among the ghosts of years past.

Very subdued colours add to the story of 'what once was'.

Your picture certainly shows the abandonment of the lonely docks.

A harbour with no boats really tells the sad story of Newfoundland and the decline of the fishing industry.

Good statement for the blight of the Cod fishing in Newfoundland. The structure of the image is not easy. May be a different angle will show a stronger composition.
