I deliberately did not use my monopod to take this image at the Niagara Falls Christmas Lights display. My “Shake it during Exposure” technique still has some life left in it. Just did a bit of tweaking by making the background totally black and cloning out some debris in the corners.

A very colourful limage, but very shaky.

Your shake-it-up technique works fine for this image. Nice colours that stand up against the black background.

Ah! the days of the had held camera shake. I used to do this very frequently until I found Photoshop. You have achieved good result from your experiment. I see a castle in the middle and flames and ghosts all round. The reason I now use Photoshop is that I can combine the Sharp elements with the blurred ones as I see fit.

The hand holding makes for an interesting affect. I like the bold colours and it was a good idea to tweak the background. Although I cannot make out a clear image of what ever you were taking it is a nice illusion open to the imagination.
